ORGANIZER

My goal is to get you organized so you can feel calmer and more in control of your life. We’ll work together to reduce clutter as I turn overwhelming situations into manageable ones.

Being organized and clearing away clutter can have these effects:

  • Come home every day to a relaxing sanctuary
  • Find anything you own in less than five minutes
  • Prevent clutter from reappearing
  • Create more time and energy in your life
  • Eliminate redundant purchases
  • Avoid late fees on bills and subscriptions.

Walk-in-pantry-storage-solutionOrganizing services can be as simple as clearing your counters, and as involved as bringing order to the home of an aging relative, or creating easy work-flow in your office. You dictate the scope of the personal organizing services. I am non-judgmental and sensitive to your personal style and organizing needs.

Together we decide what you can live without and assign a home to what you keep. The result is a calm, enjoyable and functional home, office or garage. I de-clutter kitchens, closets, garages, home offices, and all your living spaces. Sorting and organizing years of accumulated possessions and clutter is key. Then educating you in maintaining your space ensures your long-term success and productivity. I reassure my clients that I keep both their habits and their information confidential.

Sometimes life forces you to confront clutter such as when you move or when you must facilitate downsizing and personal organizing for retirees/seniors. I can help greatly with any pre and post move organizing situation.

My previous lines of work required very detailed organizational skills in business settings, but for years I helped friends and family organize kitchens, closets and garages just for the fun of it. I’ve always been an organized and neat person. I learned from the best – my mother – (who could hear when crumbs fell onto the living room carpet!) .

My lifetime interests have been arts and crafts, interior and workspace design. There is much creativity involved in making spatial assessments and design choices so that the final space works well and looks good. Form and function really do go together — especially in home and work redesign. Towers of paper, overflowing e-mail inboxes, jam-packed closets, misplaced items, out-of-control task lists…I’ve seen it all!

Organization of home storage such as kitchens and closets often requires that I/we first sort through the items in those spaces to determine what really needs to be kept, and what can be thrown away, recycled, or donated. After the initial assessment and sorting are conducted, we determine whether organizational devices such as files, shelves, or containers are needed. Once that is done, I can perform the physical organization of the spaces.

With the increasing demands of most workplaces and increased work hours, more and more people are looking for outside professional assistance to make their homes or offices work more efficiently and feel and look better. I can organize your home office or small business office by sorting through documents and supplies determining what kind of system you will be comfortable with so you will use them on a daily basis.

Everyone has a different level of organization already, ranging from “almost none” to folks who have some organizational systems in place, but either can’t or don’t use them. The fun and challenging part for me, is to figure out what they need, and how to set up a new organizational scheme that will really work for them.

I can also revamp and reorganize your closet making your wardrobe immaculate and your clothes more visible.
I can recommend what you need, shop for what you want, and pack up and cart off what needs to go — for consignment or a charitable donation.
I can set up your closets so that getting dressed is a snap and enjoyable.

The first step in clearing the clutter and organizing your life is to call or email me to discuss your needs!
